Unidentified Male Body Found in Central Kashmir, Investigation Continues
Srinagar, June 15 (WD): A male body was recovered by police in the Lassipora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday evening.
A police officer informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that Budgam Police Station received information about the discovery of a male body in Cxyhom Kol at Lassipora.
The body was taken into custody for a medical and legal examination. The officer mentioned that there were no apparent injury marks on the body.
As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been determined. Authorities have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC to investigate the cause of death.
The police have started an investigation to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.
Local residents in Lassipora have expressed concern over the incident and are urging the police to expedite their investigation.
