Tragic Accident on Handwara-Bangus Road Claims Two Lives

A devastating road accident occurred on the Handwara-Bangus road on Monday, resulting in the loss of two young lives.

A private car carrying three individuals turned turtle and fell into a deep gorge, leaving the occupants severely injured.

Saba Shafi, a girl from Pantha Chowk Srinagar, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Two others, Aliza and Nooran Ahmad Baba, were rushed to NTPHC Qalamabad for medical attention.

The doctors at Qalamabad referred the injured duo to GMC Handwara for further treatment.

Unfortunately, Aliza succumbed to her injuries shortly after admission to the hospital.

Nooran Ahmad is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries, and his condition is being closely monitored.

The ill-fated car was on a picnic trip, and the three occupants are believed to be siblings, although final confirmation is still awaited.
