Tragic Incident: Young Man Dies from Injuries After Family Altercation in Sopore
Sopore, Feb 06 (WD) – In a distressing event, a 22-year-old resident of Sopore passed away this morning due to injuries sustained in a family dispute three days ago.
According to sources from Wattan Daily, Abid Rashid Bhat, residing in Warpora Payeen, suffered severe injuries during a confrontation with his brother. Despite being in a coma for several days, he tragically couldn’t recover.
Local reports from Kashmir Scroll indicate that the older brother involved in the altercation is a Hafiz-e-Quran.
A senior police officer informed News Agency Kashmir Scroll that an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the circumstances of the incident. The officer mentioned that the police are diligently examining various accounts and will provide further updates to the media once the investigation concludes. (WD)
