Tourist Dies in Sonmarg While Snow Biking, Check Details

February 29 (WD) In Srinagar, tragic news unfolded as a 63-year-old tourist from Maharashtra met with a fatal heart attack while partaking in a snow bike ride within the picturesque Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.

According to reports, Manohar Motiram Rajani, hailing from Solapur, Maharashtra, was indulging in the adventurous activity at Tajwqs glacier when the incident occurred.

An official, quoted by KNO, stated that Manohar lost consciousness during the snow bike ride. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, tragically, he could not be saved. Upon arrival at the Primary Health Centre in Sonamarg, he was pronounced dead.

In response to the distressing event, authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.

The police are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding Manohar’s untimely demise, seeking to shed light on the unfortunate incident that has left a somber mark on the tourist excursion.
