Summer Vacation for Kashmir Schools Announced
The government has announced summer vacations for schools across the Kashmir Valley, starting from July 8th.
According to Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education, the summer vacation will be for 10 days.
The decision to announce summer vacations has been taken due to the forecast of rainfall by the Meteorological Department until July 7th.
“The MET department has predicted rainfall until the 7th of July, so we have decided to start the vacations from July 8th,” Alok Kumar said.
The Kashmir Valley has witnessed a rise in day temperatures over the past week, making the announcement of summer vacations a welcome relief for students.
The summer vacation will provide a much-needed break for students, who have been studying diligently throughout the year.
The exact dates of the summer vacation are July 8th to July 18th, during which time schools will remain closed.
