Stray Dogs Attack in North Kashmir Five People Injured

Stray dogs on prowl in kralpora Kupwara At least 5 people injured so far.

Stray dog menace has always been a nightmare for the people

There have been incidents of stray dogs chasing, attacking and biting school children, aged persons, pedestrians, morning walkers and two-wheeler riders- every where in the valley.

Today evening atleast five persons were chased by stray dogs in farkan area of north Kashmir’s kralpora Kupwara and have been bitten .

The persons identified As Mushtaq Ahmad mir 32 zaifal jan begum 33 shaheen Ahmad Mir 18 Anzir Ahmad mir 12 were badly bitten and were injured in such a way that they got many stitches from back to neck.

The canine menace has assumed horrendous dimensions in farkan village.

Residents of farkan and its adjoining areas
have expressed concern over presence of large number of stray dogs there.

A local resident Ab majeed said that presence of
stray dogs hampers movement of locals especially school
kids “There has been drastic
increase in population of stray dogs in the area.

The problem has assumed horrendous dimensions now. People appeal the authorities to direct the concerned officials to take necessary measures to check the menace.
