Security Forces on High Alert in Jammu and Kashmir Ahead of Independence Day
Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have been placed on high alert to ensure the safety and security of the people ahead of Independence Day.
Vehicle checks are being conducted in the Bhimber Gali and Manjakote sectors as part of heightened security measures.
A search operation was initiated earlier today following a brief exchange of fire with terrorists in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.
Two Army soldiers lost their lives in an encounter on Saturday, and Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi paid tribute to them on Sunday.
