The Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha, expressed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is actively engaged in restoring India’s former glory and constructing a prosperous, modern nation. This affirmation was made during a special event commemorating Juna Akhara Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri’s 25 years as Acharya Mahamandaleshwar at Harihar Ashram in Haridwar.
In his address, LG Sinha underscored the significant contributions of Acharya Shri Swami Avdheshanand Giri towards the nation. He highlighted Swami Ji’s relentless dedication to the spiritual upliftment of people and his commitment to fostering peace and prosperity in society. According to the Lieutenant Governor, Swami Avdheshanand Giri is actively working on a mission to enhance environmental security, promote social welfare, improve healthcare, provide essential amenities in rural areas, and serve as a catalyst in educating underprivileged children.
The Lt Governor also praised Swami Avdheshanand Giri for his role in combatting social evils and engaging youth in sustainable development initiatives. He emphasized the valuable inspiration that spiritual leaders provide to the younger generation, channeling their energy towards constructive endeavors.
Furthermore, Shri Manoj Sinha highlighted India’s historical role as a land of spiritual seekers, great scientists, philosophers, and artists, emphasizing that PM Modi’s efforts are in line with the restoration of India’s past glory. The Lt Governor concluded by affirming that India, with its rich history, continues to guide the world on the path of peace and coexistence under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
