Motorcycle Accident On National highway, Three Died
Three individuals from Doda district tragically lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on March 12. The accident occurred near Garnai on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway within Udhampur District, Jammu and Kashmir.
The victims have been identified as Shahzad Hussain, hailing from Chanias and son of Abdul Aziz; Mubashir Hussain, son of Ghulam Mohd from Gundna; and Vimal Kumar, son of Ram Nath from Mulla tehsil Thatri, all residents of Doda.
Upon receiving the information, Nishad Ahamed, SHO PS Rehambal, along with a police party from Police Station Rehambal, promptly responded to the scene.
The injured individuals were swiftly transported to the Associated Hospital Government Medical College Udhampur. Tragically, two of them were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The third injured person, in critical condition, was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further medical attention.
Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries while en route to GMC Jammu. Nishad Ahamed also confirmed that the police have registered a case regarding the incident, and investigations are currently underway.
