Man Injured In Mysterious Blast At
A mysterious blast occurred in the Mendhar Sector of Poonch district on Friday, leaving a 45-year-old man injured.
The incident took place while the man was grazing his cattle near the Mendhar Sector ahead of the fence.
According to officials, the man suffered injuries in his right leg as a result of the blast.
The army provided immediate first aid to the injured man before shifting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the man was later referred to the army hospital in Rajouri for specialized treatment.
The injured man has been identified as Mohammad Safeer, son of Khadam Hussain, a resident of Deri Dabsi Mendhar.
Locals have praised the army for their timely assistance in shifting the injured person to the army hospital.
The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the mysterious blast.
