Man Allegedly Kills his Wife in North kashmir

February 29 (WD) In Cheki Audoora village, Mawer area of Handwara, a man allegedly murdered his wife between Wednesday and Thursday night, as per reliable sources.

The accused, Mohammad Maqbool Mir, reportedly used a sharp object to attack his wife, resulting in her on-the-spot death. The victim, whose name has been withheld, is identified as the daughter of Mohammad Mukhtar Sheikh of Lawoosa.

According to sources, a police team has been dispatched to the scene to gather necessary details. Subsequently, a case has been registered in connection with the incident. When contacted, a police official confirmed the occurrence, stating that they are currently assessing the matter thoroughly.

The official mentioned that it may take some time to gather the full details of the incident. However, they have already ascertained the culpability of the husband in the gruesome murder of the woman.
