A 55-year-old lady, Hajira Banoo, passed away due to a heart attack in the Larnoo area of Anantnag district on Saturday evening.
Hajira Banoo was a resident of Drawaie Larnoo and was married to Gh Qadir Padder.
She complained of chest pain and was rushed to the nearby Primary Health Center (PHC) Hospital in Larnoo.
Due to the severity of her condition, she was immediately referred to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Kokernag.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, doctors at SDH Kokernag declared her dead upon arrival.
