Kashmir Transport Authorities to Seize Vehicles with Expired Documents
Crackdown on Vehicles with Expired Documents in Kashmir
Transport authorities in Kashmir are set to enforce strict measures against vehicles operating with expired registrations.
The move aims to enhance road safety and ensure regulatory compliance for both commercial and private vehicles.
Vehicles with expired Fitness Certificates and Permits for over six months will be added to a ‘Not to be Transacted’ list.
Vehicles with expired Registration Certificates will also be included in this list and seized.
The lists will be made publicly available and shared with relevant enforcement agencies, including traffic police and executive police.
This move aims to facilitate the seizure of vehicles operating illegally and maintain public safety on roads.
Regular action is crucial for ensuring compliance and preventing accidents caused by unregistered vehicles.
The crackdown is expected to bring a significant reduction in the number of vehicles operating with expired documents in Kashmir.
