Jammu and Kashmir’s IT Department Takes Action Against Violations in Online Service Rates
Following Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo’s instructions, teams from the IT Department conducted extensive inspections of Common Services Centres (CSCs) across Jammu and Kashmir today, evaluating their operations and adherence to government-approved rates.
The IT Department has officially published rates for various online services, establishing Rs. 50 per service for government-to-citizen transactions and Rs. 75 for government-to-business services.
Inspections covered diverse locations in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions, including Talab Tillo, Akhnoor, Gandhinagar, Miran Sahib, and rural areas like Domana, Mishriwala, Mathwar in Jammu. In Kashmir, scrutiny extended to Babademb, Khanyar, Rainawari, Saida Kadal, Hazratbal, Umer Colony, Lal Bazar, and Alamgari Bazar Batamaloo. Teams emphasized the importance of prominently displaying government-approved rates for accessing e-services during these visits.
