Important Notice For All J&K Employees – Check Here

In a recent update, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced an extension for filing property returns on the PRS Portal. Originally slated from January 1st to January 31st, 2024, the deadline was later pushed to February 27th, 2024. However, despite this extension, a significant number of employees failed to meet the submission deadline.

According to the General Administration Department, failure to submit property returns within the extended timeline is considered a default, potentially leading to action under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Men and Public Servants Declaration of Assets Act and Rules.

Recognizing the necessity for a final opportunity, the department has decided to grant defaulting employees one last chance. From March 3rd to March 17th, 2024, employees who missed the previous deadlines can submit their property returns online through the PRS Portal.

Additionally, employees who registered on the portal but didn’t submit their returns are encouraged to complete the process during this period. Those facing issues with OTP are advised to update their contact details on the CPIS portal, while Disbursing Officers (DDOs) are tasked with facilitating this process.

For any technical assistance or concerns, employees are encouraged to reach out to support-prs@jk.gov.in for prompt resolution. This extension aims to ensure full compliance with property return requirements and streamline the submission process for all government employees.
