Five DySPs Transferred in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, July 14 : In a significant reshuffle, five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) have been transferred in Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect. The changes were announced through an official order issued by the Director General of Police (DGP), a copy of which is available with the News Agency Kashmir Scroll.
The order specifies that Hamid Ali Banday and Syed Aqeel Shah are among the officers who have been reassigned. Hamid Ali Banday has been transferred from his position as DySP Surankote to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Handwara, while Syed Aqeel Shah has moved from DySP CID CI Rajouri to DySP PC Poonch, against an OAR post.
Additionally, Ajaz Ahmad has been transferred from his role as SDPO Mahore to DySP PC/SDPO Surankote. This reassignment aims to bolster the administrative effectiveness and operational efficiency in the respective areas.
Satish Kumar, previously serving as SDPO Handwara, has been reassigned to DySP Headquarters Rajouri. Meanwhile, Parupkar Singh has been moved from his position as DySP CID SB Udhampur-Reasi to SDPO Thanamandi, reflecting the ongoing efforts to optimize the deployment of police personnel in critical areas.
The order also includes instructions for Viqar Younus Batt, SDPO Thanamandi (KPS155783), and Ashwani Kumar, DySP Headquarters Rajouri (EXJ005602), to report to the Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) in Jammu. Both officers are to await further orders regarding their new postings.
