Father of Two Children Dies by Electrocution in

Tragedy struck in Pulwama village today when a young father of two children died by electrocution due to a low-hanging high tension electric line.

Abul Hameed Reshi, a 38-year-old driver, was working in his orchard in Mirbagh, Ratnipora, when the incident occurred. His tube well pipe came into contact with the low-hanging HT line, resulting in his electrocution.

Locals rushed Reshi to the nearby Kakpora health center, where he was declared dead. The community is mourning the loss of this young life, and many are pointing fingers at the Power Development Department (PDD) for their alleged negligence.

According to locals, the PDD had been warned repeatedly about the low-hanging HT line, which was supplying electricity to Mirbagh. Despite these warnings, the authorities failed to take action and increase the height of the line.

The locals are outraged and believe that had the PDD acted on time, this tragic incident could have been averted. They are demanding accountability and justice for the family of the deceased.

Abul Hameed Reshi is survived by his two small children, who are now left without a father. The community is coming together to support the family in their time of grief.

This incident highlights the importance of ensuring the safety of electrical infrastructure and the need for authorities to take citizen concerns seriously.

As the investigation into this incident continues, the community remains in shock and is seeking answers from the PDD. The family of Abul Hameed Reshi deserves justice and support in this difficult time.
