Faheem Zahoor, 13 Year old wins Gold Medal in Thai Boxing
At the age of 13, Faheem Zahoor from Wanipora Saloora, Ganderbal, is making waves in the martial arts scene, embodying dedication and passion. Starting his journey in 2017, Faheem delved into various disciplines like Taekwondo, Thai boxing, boxing, and Wushu. A standout accomplishment was securing a gold medal in Thai boxing in Hyderabad, a prelude to his remarkable trajectory.
Transitioning to Pencak Silat in 2021, Faheem actively participated in district and state championships, reaching the pinnacle at the 11th National Pre-Teen, Pre-Junior, and Junior Championship in Patna. His victories began at the district-level Pencak Silat Championship 2023 in Ganderbal, followed by success at the state-level championship in Srinagar. Faheem proudly secured a bronze medal at the National Championship in Patna, marking the zenith of his journey.
