Dr Syed Abid Rashid Appointed As Director SKIMS Soura

The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah as the Director of SKIMS Soura, in addition to his current responsibilities.

This decision comes in light of the retirement of Dr. Parvez Koul on March 3. As stated in an official order obtained by the wattan Daily (WD) , Dr. Rashid’s appointment is temporary, pending the selection of a permanent candidate for the position.

The order, issued by the government, highlights that Dr. Rashid, who serves as the Administrative Secretary of the Health and Medical Education Department, will assume the role of Director of SKIMS Soura until further notice.

This appointment is crucial for maintaining continuity in leadership at SKIMS following Dr. Koul’s retirement. Dr. Rashid’s vast experience and expertise make him a suitable choice to oversee the institution’s operations during this transitional period.
