Dead Body of Young Boy Recovered In

A heartbreaking incident occurred in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, July 24, when a young boy lost his life while taking a bath in the river Jhelum.

The boy, identified as Hazim Nasir, son of Nisar Ahmad Dar, a resident of Jalsheeri, drowned in the river, leaving his family and community in shock.

Immediately after the incident, a team of police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel rushed to the spot to initiate rescue efforts.

The teams worked tirelessly to retrieve the body, and after a prolonged search, they finally succeeded in recovering it on Friday, July 26.

The body of Hazim Nasir has been handed over to his family, who are now coming to terms with their loss.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.

The community in Baramulla is mourning the loss of the young boy, and condolences are pouring in for the bereaved family.
