Curative Survey Scam in J&K; 1 Arrested & 06 other Suspects identified

In a recent development, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) from the Jammu and Kashmir police has successfully identified six individuals involved in the multi-crore Curative Survey scam. Subsequently, one suspect has been apprehended in Tamil Nadu.
According to an official statement by a police spokesperson, the investigation revealed that on December 19, 2023, a fictitious entity operating under the name ‘Curative Survey Private Limited’ executed a widespread scam. This fraudulent company exploited the trust of unsuspecting individuals through a deceptive website, falsely promising substantial returns on investments.
The deceitful practices of the company led numerous subscribers to invest their hard-earned money, only to be left in the lurch when the promised returns failed to materialize. As a result, the company ceased communication, causing widespread confusion and prompting public protests due to the grievances of affected individuals.(WD)
