Tragedy Strikes on Mughal Road: Child Among Two Killed in Vehicle Accident
A devastating accident occurred on Mughal Road on Friday, resulting in the loss of two precious lives, including a child.
A Bolero vehicle, carrying eight passengers, all residents of Dharhal Rajouri, met with an accident near Panar area, causing the vehicle to fall into a gorge.
The injured, including five children, were rushed to the hospital and later shifted to GMC Rajouri for further treatment.
Unfortunately, two of the injured, including a child, succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
The police reached the spot promptly and assisted in rescuing the injured and transporting them to the hospital.
SHO Surankote Rajesh Thapa confirmed the death of two people, including the child, and informed that a case has been registered in connection with the accident.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
This tragic incident highlights the importance of road safety and the need for caution while driving, especially on hilly and winding roads like Mughal Road.
