CBI Officer Dies in Tragic Motorcycle Accident in JK
A tragic motorcycle accident occurred in Jammu, resulting in the untimely death of a dedicated CBI officer, Prashant Sharma. The incident took place as Sharma was navigating a speed-breaker on his way home. As his motorcycle slipped, Sharma suffered critical head injuries during the night between Friday and Saturday.
Residing in Paloura, Sharma served as a deputy superintendent of police within the CBI. Despite immediate efforts to aid him, the severity of his injuries necessitated urgent medical attention. He was swiftly taken to the Government Medical College in Jammu for initial treatment.
Despite medical efforts, Sharma’s condition remained precarious, prompting the decision to transfer him to a specialized hospital in Punjab. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries during the journey.
Currently, authorities are conducting a post-mortem examination at the Government Medical College in Jammu. Once legal procedures are finalized, Sharma’s body will be released to his grieving family.
