BSNL Sees Surge in Porting Requests in Kashmir
BSNL Kashmir has received an overwhelming response from customers, with over 300-400 porting queries daily, after private telecom operators hiked call and internet tariffs.
The company’s attractive plans and affordable services have drawn in customers, according to Public Relations Officer, BSNL Kashmir, Masood Bala.
BSNL has existing plans in place and has not launched any new plans to counter private telecom operators, Masood clarified.
The company is enhancing its infrastructure to meet customer expectations and is set to install 500 5G mobile towers in the Kashmir Valley.
Once 5G services are launched, customers can expect a significant boost, Masood said.
BSNL has a strong presence in Kashmir and is hopeful that customers will remain connected with the company.
The recent tariff hikes by private telecom operators have led to a surge in customers considering switching to BSNL.
BSNL has introduced affordable recharge plans to attract new users and seize the opportunity in the market.
