Balidan Stambh: Memorial for Martyrs to be Unveiled on August 15

The Balidan Stambh, a memorial dedicated to the nation’s martyrs, is set to be opened to the public on August 15.

SMC Commissioner Dr. Owais Ahmad announced the completion of the project on Tuesday, stating that it is ready for public viewing.

The Commissioner expressed pride in completing the project on time, saying “We had committed to keeping the Balidan Stambh ready by August 15, and it is ready now.”

The public is invited to visit the memorial and pay their respects to the nation’s heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

There will be no entry fee for visiting the Balidan Stambh, making it accessible to all who wish to pay their respects.

All necessary arrangements will be made available at the destination on August 15, ensuring a smooth and meaningful experience for visitors.

The total cost of the Balidan Stambh project was ₹4.8 crores, a significant investment in honoring the nation’s martyrs.
