Admin Orders Salary Release for Employees With Missing Appointment Orders
The administration of Jammu and Kashmir has taken a significant step to address the issue of withheld salaries for employees who couldn’t register on the JKHRMS due to the unavailability of initial appointment orders. Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, issued an order directing the release of these salaries after verification by the respective Head of Departments.
This decision follows detailed instructions aimed at streamlining the Human Resource Management System across various departments in the region. The matter of non-disbursement of salaries for employees without traceable initial appointment orders was thoroughly examined by the General Administration Department.
According to the order, employees’ service details must be updated on JKHRMS and verified by concerned officials. It emphasizes the proper maintenance of service books and attestation of service details by competent authorities.
While salaries will be released in the interim, departments are required to provide necessary documentation within three months. This includes records such as select lists from recruitment agencies and notifications recommending appointments.
The concerned Heads of Departments are mandated to ensure timely submission of required documents for further processing by the General Administration Department. This move aims to resolve the issue of withheld salaries and ensure transparency in the administration’s human resource management practices.
Overall, the order reflects the administration’s commitment to addressing employee concerns and improving the efficiency of HR processes in Jammu and Kashmir.
