Accident in Srinagar Police Officer Died Onspot

Srinagar, July 04 (WD): A tragic road accident in the 90 Feet Soura area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district claimed the life of a police officer on Thursday. The accident involved a Scooty and a truck, resulting in the on-the-spot death of the Scooty rider.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat. He was a resident of Repora Lar in Ganderbal. At the time of his death, he was serving as a SgCt in the Jammu and Kashmir Police and was posted at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Srinagar.

An official from the area reported that the collision was severe, leaving no chance for the Scooty rider to survive. The impact of the crash was such that the police officer died instantly at the scene of the accident.
