Vehicle Collision in Bijbehara Leaves 11 Passengers Injured

A vehicle collision occurred along the highway in Bijbehara, Anantnag district, leaving at least Eleven passengers injured.

The incident involved two vehicles: a Tata Mobile and a Sumo, which collided at Air Strip along the highway.

According to an official, the injured passengers were identified as Rumaisa, Abdul Qayoom Bairan, Azra, Ishrat, Salreen, Ahkam, Arhan, Imad, Usman etc

All the injured passengers are residents of Kangan, except for Rumaisa, who is from Sonamarg.

The injured were initially taken to SDH Bijbehara for treatment and later referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.

A police official confirmed that they have taken cognisance of the incident and will conduct further investigations.

The cause of the collision is yet to be determined, and the police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The incident highlights the importance of road safety and the need for drivers to exercise caution while driving on highways.
