Accident In North Kashmir,Two Young Boys Died Onspot
Srinagar, Jun 15 (WD): A tragic road accident in the Pattan area of Baramulla district has claimed the lives of a biker and his pillion rider. The incident occurred when the two-wheeler they were riding met with a fatal accident at Tappar Payeen.
Initial reports indicate that the bike, bearing the number JK09-7294, was involved in a severe crash that resulted in critical injuries to both individuals. Eyewitnesses at the scene promptly evacuated the duo to Trauma Hospital Pattan for urgent medical attention.
Unfortunately, despite the quick response and medical intervention, both victims succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. The attending medical officer, BMO Pattan Dr. Mohammad Taha Khan, confirmed the deaths and stated that the bodies are currently at the Trauma Hospital.
Dr. Khan mentioned that the hospital has informed the respective families of the deceased. The process of identifying and contacting the families was swiftly undertaken to ensure they received the tragic news without delay.
Further details revealed that one of the deceased was from Handwara in Kupwara district, while the other hailed from Mohali in Punjab. This information has added a layer of tragedy, highlighting the diverse origins of the victims.
