NTA to reopen application window For NEET Aspirants on

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the reopening of the online application forms for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024. Candidates who missed the earlier deadline now have the opportunity to apply until April 10. The extension comes in response to requests from students who couldn’t submit their forms due to various reasons.

To apply, candidates must visit the official website neet.ntaonline.in and either register as new applicants or log in if they already have an account. They need to provide personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email address during the registration process. Once registered, applicants can proceed to fill out the application form.

There are various options for login and identification, including Aadhaar card, Digi locker, Passport, Pan Card, or any other valid Government Identity Card with a photograph. Additionally, candidates must pay the application fee, which varies depending on their category. General category candidates need to pay Rs 1,700, while there are relaxations for reserved categories, with fees ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,600.

NTA emphasizes that this is a one-time opportunity, and no further chance will be given for applying for NEET UG 2024. Therefore, candidates are advised to fill the form carefully. The total number of registrations for NEET UG 2024 has reached 23,81,833, with over 10 lakh male students, over 13 lakh female students, and 24 students registering under the ‘third gender’ category.

NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to take place on May 5 from 2 to 5 pm across 571 cities in India and 14 cities outside the country in pen and paper (offline) mode. Aspirants are urged to mark their calendars and prepare diligently for this crucial examination that determines admission to undergraduate medical courses
