IUST suspends classes for tomorrow amid PM Webcast Viksit Bharat
IUST Halts Classes for PM’s Webcast on “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth” Event
Srinagar: The Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora (IUST), has announced the suspension of all class activities on Monday. This decision aligns with the “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth” National Level event organized by Niti Aayog.
In adherence to the directive, classes at both the IUST main campus and constituent colleges will be temporarily paused. The university aims to facilitate students’ attendance at the Prime Minister’s webcast scheduled for December 11, 2023, at 10:30 AM.
Heads of Departments are encouraged to motivate faculty, staff, and students to actively participate, with the webcast link to be shared by the Directorate of IT&SS.
It is crucial to note that examinations will proceed as planned. Notably, the Prime Minister’s speech is scheduled for 10:30 PM, coinciding with a significant Supreme Court decision on Kashmir’s Article 370.
