Tragedy Strikes Anantnag: 12-Year-Old Boy Killed in Road Accident

A devastating road accident occurred in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday afternoon, claiming the life of a 12-year-old boy.

The incident took place in Akura Mattan, where a tractor hit the minor, leaving him critically injured.

The boy was rushed to PHC Mattan, where he was referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.

Despite efforts to save him, the boy succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to DH Anantnag.

The deceased boy has been identified as Faisal Ahmad Wagay, son of Javid Ahmad Wagay, a resident of Akura.

A police official confirmed the incident and stated that a case has been registered for further investigations.
