India Post has released a recruitment notification for 442 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in Jammu and Kashmir Post Office. The posts include Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevaks.
Interested candidates can apply online at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in from July 15, 2024, to August 5, 2024.
Applicants must have passed the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) with passing marks in Mathematics and English. The selection will be based on marks obtained in the 10th standard examination.
The salary for the selected candidates will be in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance. The applicable TRCA for different categories are: BPM – Rs. 12,000 – 29,380/- and ABPM/Dak Sevak – Rs. 10,000 – 24,470/-.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100/-. However, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PWD candidates, and Transwoman candidates are exempt from paying application fees.
To apply, candidates need to register on the official website, pay the application fee, select their division and exercise preferences, upload their photograph and signature, and submit the application form.
