Weather Update, Light Rain Expected In Valley From

Forecast: From May 28th to 29th, the weather is expected to be generally dry. However, there is a possibility of thundershower activity occurring in isolated areas.

On May 30th and 31st, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy, with light rain or thunderstorms predicted in isolated places.

From June 1st to 2nd, the weather will continue to be partly to generally cloudy, with light rain or thunderstorms likely in isolated locations.

Between June 3rd and 5th, the forecast indicates generally dry weather throughout the region.

For June 6th and 7th, the weather will be generally cloudy, with light rain or thunderstorms possible in isolated areas.

Advisory: There will be no respite from the heat wave and hot, dry weather conditions over the plains of the Jammu Division for the next seven days.

Slight relief from the heat wave and hot, dry conditions is expected on May 30th and 31st, and from June 1st to 2nd over most parts of the Kashmir Division and some hilly areas of the Jammu Division.

Another spell of heat wave is anticipated from June 3rd to 5th.

It is advised to avoid heat exposure between 12 noon and 3 PM, and to drink plenty of fluids and water, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, infants, and children.
