Today, anticipate ongoing light to moderate rain/snow in north Kashmir and higher reaches of Kashmir, along with scattered precipitation in select areas of the Jammu region until late afternoon. South Kashmir and certain parts of central Kashmir may experience periods of sunshine, creating a potential rain-free interval, particularly between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Expect an increase in rain/snow coverage from evening onwards, with moderate to heavy precipitation forecasted for the Jammu region and specific areas in south Kashmir until tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, central and north Kashmir plains may receive moderate rain or snow during this period.
