JKSSB Releases J.E Civil Jal Shakti Selection List, Check List here

The Jal Shakti Department, through Indent No. JSD/NGJ/65/2021 dated 10.08.2021, referred 163 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) to the J&K Services Selection Board. These were advertised via Notification No. 05 of 2021 dated 22.09.2021, with a category-wise break-up detailed below:
- Junior Engineer (Civil): 163 posts
- OM: 81
- SC: 13
- OSC ALC/RBA: 17
- PSP: 16
- IB: 6
- ST: 16
- EWS: 163
- UT: 163
The qualification requirement for these posts included a “03 years diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government recognized Institute/Indian University, Degree in Civil Engineering, AMIE Section (A&B) INDIA.”
The crucial dates included a cut-off/last date for application on 17.11.2021. The Written Examination took place on 05.12.2022 to 06.12.2022 in CBT mode. The Result/Score-sheet was notified on 04.11.2023.
Subsequently, candidates within the consideration zone underwent Document Verification on 01.01.2024 in Jammu & Srinagar, followed by supplementary DV on 04.01.2024. The JKSSB, through Order No. 03-SSB of 2024 dated 03.01.2024, constituted a Selection Committee.
The Provisional Selection List for the 163 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) was prepared by the Selection Committee after careful scrutiny of the Indent/advertisement. This list was presented before the Board in its 255th meeting on 12.01.2024, gaining approval after due deliberations.
