SAI Recruitment 2024:

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has recently issued an official notification for hiring coaches on either a contract or deputation basis. There are a total of 214 vacancies distributed across various categories.

The positions include 9 High-Performance Coach posts, 45 Senior Coach posts, 43 Coach posts, and 117 Assistant Coach posts. Each category has specific eligibility criteria, requiring candidates to hold a Coaching Diploma or its equivalent from SAI, NS NIS, or any recognized University. The pay scale for recruited coaches varies by position. High-Performance Coaches under deputation will be at Level-13 in the pay matrix (Rs 1,23,100 – Rs 2,15,900), while those on a contractual basis will receive a consolidated pay of Rs 2,20,000. Senior Coaches at Level-11 (Rs 67,700 – Rs 2,08,700) will have a contractual pay of Rs 1,25,000. Similarly, Coach and Assistant Coach positions have their respective pay scales for deputation and contractual engagements.
